Well, as John put's it, that was a long 10 days. It went really well, all the body systems are back on track. We started with broth on day 11 - John forgot and had all the veggies, meat and barley from the soup - too much of a shock to the system. Day 12 was cooked veggies, broth and fruit. We did well and we were definitely overdue for this cleanse. I only felt hungry once and that was from doing a little too much outside gardening last weekend. It was great not having to plan meals for 10 days. You do come to realize exactly what is true hunger versus boredom and thirst. We'll do it again within 2 years. The mind and body really clear up. Energy levels were great and no brain fog. To do the cleanse properly, read the book "The Complete Master Cleanse". No fake lemon juice, bottled lemon juice or immitation maple syrup allowed.
Love to hear from anyone else who has done this cleanse successfully.

Master Cleanse Day 3
The master cleanse is doing quite well. Day 4 begins tomorrow. It's amazing what you body can do when it no longer has to spend 70% of it's day/effort digesting all the garbage we put into it. Feeling great. The syrup gives us and our so called brains energy to function clearly and eliminate the toxic waste... Christine actually enjoys making dinner now...no effort and no dishes! The amount of stress that eliminates on its' own is huge.

Liver Cleanse Time
Have any of you heard of the Master Cleanse? Well after my latest trip and a week of restaurant foods, John and myself have decided it's that time again. For 10 days, we'll be drinking nothing but fresh squeezed lemon water with cayenne and maple syrup. Sounds gross but actually your energy levels are great. Even our kids like the taste (less the cayenne however). We'll keep you posted on our progress.
